Cult Mechanicus

Through the darkening twilight come the Cult Mechanicus, their exhaust fumes tinged with incense and their voices raised in sinister prayer. This is no regimented military force, nor a benevolent gathering of holy men, but a procession of cybernetic horrors and soulless automatons. Each of their number has willingly traded away his humanity, fashioned as a living weapon in the hands of his inhuman masters. The Cult Mechanicus bring not forgiveness, nor mercy, nor a chance for conversion to their creed. Instead they bring death; a thousand different kinds, each measured and recorded for later assimilation.

FAQ

Codex: Cult Mechanicus

Q: The Dominus Maniple Formation lists ‘1 Onager Dunecrawler’ as part of the Formation. Can additional Onager Dunecrawlers be purchased for this unit?
 A
No. The Formation entry is not for a unit of Onager Dunecrawlers, but a single model.
Q: Can models embarked on a vehicle that fire at Kastelan Robots (whether through Fire Points or in Open-topped Transports) have shots reflected back at them because of the Repulsor Grid special rule? Can units that are able to Jink do so against reflected shots?
 A
Any shots reflected back at them will hit the vehicle. Units cannot Jink against reflected shots.
Q: If a unit such as the Kataphron Destroyers deals an unsaved Wound using their phosphor blasters, then does the 1-point reduction in cover save from the Luminagen special rule apply to the same unit’s heavy grav-cannons if fired afterwards?
 A
Yes.

Codex: Imperial Agents

Q: Imperial Agents seems to replace existing material but Games Workshop has indicated that players can use either the new or older material. As Imperial Agents lacks certain things present in older material, such as Servo Skulls, which do we use?
 A
If you have bought and own the existing and still currently available digital Codex: Adepta Sororitas and Codex: Inquisition, you can use those over the rules presented in Imperial Agents if you wish.
