Profiles

The Inquisition army list is split into following sections: Dedicated Transport, Elites, Heavy Support and HQ. All of the squads, vehicles and characters in the army are placed into one of these categories depending upon their role on the battlefield. Each model is also given a points value, which varies depending on how effective that model is in battle.

Before you choose an army, you will need to agree with your opponent upon the type of game you are going to play and the maximum total number of points each of you will spend. Then you can proceed to pick your army following the guidelines given in the Warhammer 40,000 rulebook.

Wargear List

These lists detail the points values of various items of wargear available to units in your army. Many unit entries in the army list that follows may include wargear options from one or more of these lists - in each instance, the army list entry will tell you (in bold) exactly which of these lists you may use.

Melee Weapons

A model may replace one weapon with one of the following:

Power weapon 15 pts
Power fist 25 pts

Ranged Weapons

A model may replace one weapon with one of the following:

Combi-flamer, -melta or -plasma 10 pts
Plasma pistol 15 pts

Special Weapons and Wargear

A model may replace one weapon with one of the following:

Flamer 10 pts
Meltagun 10 pts
Plasma gun 10 pts
Storm shield 15 pts

Armour

A model may take one of the following:

Carapace armour 2 pts
Power armour 3 pts

Acolyte Weapons

A model can replace one weapon with one of the following:

Boltgun 1 pt
Storm bolter 3 pts
Hot-shot lasgun 5 pts

Inquisitorial Armoury

A model can replace one weapon with one of the following:

Combi-flamer, -melta or -plasma 10 pts
Flamer 10 pts
Meltagun 10 pts

Plasma pistol 15 pts
Power weapon 15 pts
Storm shield 20 pts
Power fist 25 pts

Servitor Weapons

A model can replace its servo-arm with one of the following:

A model can take up to one of each of the following:

Cypher can be selected as part of a primary detachment from the following codexes: Adepta Sororitas, Blood Angels, Chaos Space Marines, Grey Knights, Imperial Guard, Inquisition, Space Marines or Space Wolves. Cypher does not take up any slots from the detachment’s Force Organisation chart. He may not be included in an army that includes any models from Codex: Dark Angels.
